Velotric has just launched its latest electric bike model, the Nomad 2X, and it’s definitely turning heads. Building on the success of their all-terrain Nomad platform, Velotric has taken things up a notch with a full-suspension version that promises a top-notch riding experience.

What sets the Velotric Nomad 2X apart is its use of air suspension, a high-quality choice for achieving maximum comfort on rough terrains. With a 120mm travel air fork and 80mm of travel in the rear suspension, paired with 26×4″ Kenda tires, this bike is ready to tackle any adventure with ease.

The drivetrain features a 48T chainring and 8-speed Shimano Acera derailleur, complemented by a torque/cadence sensor setup that allows riders to switch between pedal assist styles effortlessly. And let’s not forget the powerful 48V 750W rear hub motor with 105 Nm of torque, perfect for those times when you need a little extra boost.

In terms of range, the Velotric Nomad 2X doesn’t disappoint. With a UL-listed 48V 16.7Ah battery integrated into the downtube, riders can expect up to 50 miles on the throttle or 75 miles on pedal assist. Plus, the bike comes with multiple speed settings, from Class 2 to Class 3, allowing riders to tailor their riding experience to their preferences.

But the features don’t stop there. The Nomad 2X includes Apple FindMy location tracking, LED lighting, a USB-C outlet for charging electronics, and impressive weight ratings. With a 1,000 lb tow rating and a 560 lb payload capacity, this bike is built to handle heavy loads with ease.

For added convenience, riders can receive OTA updates via the smartphone app and even activate a Stealth Mode for quieter operation and reduced visibility. Available in blue or grey colorways and in both step-over and step-through variants, the Velotric Nomad 2X offers something for everyone.
