VIA optronics and Autolink Information Technology have recently announced the formation of a joint venture, Wuxi Turing Intelligent Display Technology (Turing), with the aim of advancing interactive display solutions in the automotive sector. This partnership will combine VIA’s expertise in display solutions with Autolink’s proficiency in intelligent connected vehicle technology to meet the growing market demand for integrated automotive system solutions.

Turing will be responsible for manufacturing display devices and assembling displays, inheriting Autolink’s electronic control units (ECU) expertise and VIA’s advanced display solutions, camera products, and optical bonding manufacturing services. The joint venture is expected to deliver a comprehensive suite of services to cater to the needs of the automotive industry.

Roland Chochoiek, CEO of VIA, expressed excitement about the strategic collaboration with Autolink, stating that the new joint venture will complement the supply chain for smart cockpit platforms in the automotive industry. By leveraging each other’s strengths and capabilities, VIA and Autolink aim to broaden their business horizons and enhance their offerings to OEMs.

Hongze Yang, founder of Autolink, emphasized the significance of the partnership with VIA in advancing their strategy for product integration and global expansion. Together, they plan to co-develop next-generation system-level solutions for smart cockpits, enhance supply chain synergy, and better serve OEMs worldwide. Yang envisions Turing becoming a benchmark enterprise in the intelligent cockpit display sector, both in China and globally.

In conclusion, the establishment of Wuxi Turing Intelligent Display Technology represents a significant step towards revolutionizing interactive display solutions in the automotive industry. The joint venture between VIA optronics and Autolink Information Technology is poised to drive innovation and meet the evolving needs of OEMs in the global automotive market.
