Recent VW designs reflect this friendlier approach. The ID.Buzz, for example, features VW’s signature angry eyes but with a likable retro aesthetic. The company’s SUVs also exude a friendly vibe, and even models like the GLI and GTI manage to stand out without appearing overly aggressive.
In addition to exterior designs, Volkswagen is also focusing on improving its interiors. Mindt revealed that the company is investing in high-quality materials and eliminating cheap trim pieces to enhance the overall cabin experience. By reallocating resources to improve quality, Volkswagen aims to create more luxurious and comfortable interiors for its customers.
Volkswagen recently introduced the 2025 Golf R and the 2025 Jetta GLI in the US, with plans to launch more products in the coming years. One of the most anticipated releases is an electric GTI, which Volkswagen promises will be even more exciting to drive than its gas-powered counterpart.
