VOYAH Launches Courage SUV Model in European Markets

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 24, Dongfeng Motor’s premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH officially introduced the global edition of the VOYAH Zhiyin, named “Courage,” to three European markets, including Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The Courage is priced at approximately 270,000 yuan to 430,000 yuan in these markets.

The vehicle made its debut at the Oslo Auto Show, marking the start of its international rollout. Prior to this, VOYAH had unveiled the Courage and the VOYAH FREE models at a brand launch event in Slovenia on October 23.

Norway, known for its high adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), with over 95% of new car sales being all-electric, presents a lucrative market for VOYAH. Tesla currently dominates the EV market in Norway, accounting for the top two spots in September sales. By introducing the Courage model, VOYAH aims to compete with Tesla’s offerings.

The Courage global edition (four-wheel-drive) is priced at around 290,000 yuan in Norway and up to 430,000 yuan in Finland and Sweden. In comparison, Chinese buyers can purchase the model domestically for 202,900 yuan.

VOYAH also offers Chinese consumers options such as the Long-Range Smart and the Long-Range Supercharging variants, priced from 179,900 yuan to 236,900 yuan. The Long-Range Supercharging edition, with its 5C charging capability, can charge 515 km of range in just 15 minutes, addressing concerns about charging time.

Since its launch in China on October 13, the VOYAH Courage has garnered significant demand, with 8,126 units ordered within 24 hours. More than half of these orders were for the Long-Range Supercharging version.
