Wuling Hongguang Goes Electric: New EV Starts at 69,800 Yuan

Wuling Hongguang, a popular Chinese automaker, recently introduced its latest battery-powered models in mainland China on September 6th. The new electric vehicle lineup includes two models that are now available for pre-sales, with prices ranging from 69,800 to 72,800 yuan. One of the standout features of these models is their impressive 300-kilometer CLTC pure electric range, making them a practical and eco-friendly choice for consumers.

The exterior design of the new Wuling Hongguang electric vehicles has been revamped to give them a more modern and aerodynamic look. The front grille is now fully enclosed, and the headlights feature projector lenses for improved visibility. The vehicle’s profile is sleek and stylish, with blackened steel wheels adding a touch of ruggedness. The rear end sports a sportier taillight design, while the generously sized tailgate makes loading and unloading cargo a breeze.

In terms of dimensions, the Wuling Hongguang electric vehicles measure 4515mm in length, 1725mm in width, and 1790mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. Inside, customers can choose between 5- and 6-seater configurations, providing flexibility to accommodate different passenger needs.

Under the hood, the new Wuling Hongguang electric vehicles are powered by a single electric motor that delivers a maximum power output of 75 kilowatts and a peak torque of 180 Nm. The vehicles are equipped with a 32.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which supports DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. This efficient charging capability, coupled with the impressive 300-kilometer CLTC-rated pure electric range, ensures that drivers can enjoy a hassle-free and uninterrupted driving experience.

Overall, the new Wuling Hongguang electric vehicles offer a compelling combination of performance, range, and affordability, making them a strong contender in the ever-growing electric vehicle market. With their stylish design, practical features, and eco-friendly credentials, these models are sure to attract a wide range of customers looking for a reliable and sustainable transportation solution.
