Xiaomi EV says SU7 deliveries exceed 20,000 units again in Nov

Xiaomi EV, the automotive division of Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, has once again achieved a milestone in November by delivering over 20,000 units of its SU7 electric vehicle. This marks the second consecutive month that Xiaomi EV has surpassed the 20,000 mark in deliveries, signaling a strong demand for the company’s EV offerings. The company announced this achievement on Weibo, without specifying the exact number of units delivered.

With deliveries consistently exceeding 20,000 units per month, Xiaomi EV is on track to meet its ambitious target of delivering over 130,000 units by the end of the year. This goal demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the EV market and establishing itself as a key player in the industry.

The SU7, which was officially launched in March, comes in three versions – Standard, Pro, and Max – with prices starting at RMB 215,900 ($29,810). Deliveries of the different versions began in April and May, with the company aiming to cater to a wide range of customers with varying preferences and budgets.

During a recent earnings call, Xiaomi’s management expressed confidence in achieving a delivery target of at least 100,000 units for the full year of 2024, with a stretch goal of 120,000 units. However, the company surpassed these targets ahead of schedule, with SU7 deliveries exceeding 100,000 units in November.

To meet the growing demand for its EVs, Xiaomi is ramping up production capacity and expanding its manufacturing facilities. The company is currently working on the second phase of its EV factory, which is expected to be completed by June 2025. Once operational, the new facility will significantly increase Xiaomi EV’s annual production capacity to 300,000 units.

Looking ahead, Xiaomi EV is planning to launch its second EV model in the first quarter of 2025, further expanding its product lineup and solidifying its position in the competitive electric vehicle market. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, Xiaomi EV is set to continue its success story in the rapidly evolving EV industry.
