Xiaomi Launches the SU7 Ultra Electric Vehicle with Pre-Sale Price of 814,900 Yuan
Xiaomi recently unveiled the mass-produced version of its high-performance electric vehicle, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. The pre-sale price for this impressive vehicle was announced to be 814,900 yuan. Pre-orders for the model opened on October 29, with reservations surpassing 3,680 units within just 10 minutes. The official release date for the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is set for March 2025.
Lei Jun, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, described the SU7 Ultra as the flagship model of the SU7 series. This road-legal four-door sports car aims to be the fastest production four-door vehicle globally. Equipped with Xiaomi’s proprietary super three-motor system, the SU7 Ultra delivers an astounding 1,548 horsepower. This power allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h.
The innovative motor system in the SU7 Ultra includes two HyperEngine V8s E-motors and one HyperEngine V6s E-motor. Notably, Xiaomi’s self-developed HyperEngine V8s E-motor is capable of reaching 27,200 rpm. To enhance performance, the car features extensive use of carbon fiber, including on the roof and steering wheel, covering a total area of 3.74 square meters. Additionally, the SU7 Ultra is equipped with a 40W external speaker that can simulate engine sounds.
The vehicle also comes with Xiaomi’s high-performance battery pack, utilizing CATL’s latest Qilin II cells. This technology allows the SU7 Ultra to charge from 10% to 80% in just 11 minutes. With a CLTC-rated range of 630 km, the SU7 Ultra offers both impressive performance and practicality.
