XPENG P7+ Model Sees Increased Production Capacity with EVE Energy’s Support

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- EVE Energy played a crucial role in boosting production capacity for the XPENG P7+ model, as reported by an automotive blogger on December 20 via Sina Weibo. The initial three battery cell production lines provided by EVE Energy were swiftly followed by the addition of a fourth line within a month of the car’s release. Plans are in place to add two more production lines next month to meet the high demand for the P7+ model.

XPENG’s head of R&D for the P/G series models, Wu Anfei, acknowledged the support from EVE Energy and other suppliers, expressing gratitude for their partnership in meeting the increased production requirements.

With the ramp-up in production capacity, the delivery cycle for the XPENG P7+ has been significantly shortened to 5-8 weeks, a notable improvement from the initial delivery period. Some customers may now receive their vehicles before the Chinese New Year, surpassing expectations.

The XPENG P7+ made its debut on November 7, offering three trim levels priced between 186,800 yuan and 218,800 yuan. The model has achieved an impressive 10,000 units in cumulative deliveries within just four weeks of its market launch.

Features of the XPENG P7+ Model

The XPENG P7+ retains the distinctive “Robot Face” front fascia with a full-width LED light, showcasing the brand’s unique design language.

Inside, the P7+ boasts a minimalist interior design reminiscent of the XPENG X9, featuring a 15.6-inch central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip for seamless connectivity and advanced technology integration.

The model is equipped with built-in AI-powered advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) across the lineup, utilizing XPENG’s proprietary XOS 5.4 platform and the AI Hawkeye Visual Solution. The AI Hawkeye Visual Solution enhances vision capabilities with two 8M cameras, millimeter-wave radars, and ultrasonic radars, ensuring optimal performance in various driving conditions.

Power-wise, the P7+ offers two variants: a low-power version with a maximum output of 180 kW and a high-power version with a peak output of 230 kW, catering to different driving preferences and performance requirements.
