Xpeng P7+ reaches 10,000th delivery

Xpeng’s P7+ electric sedan has been making waves in the market, with cumulative deliveries surpassing 10,000 units just four weeks after its launch. The model accounted for 22.5 percent of Xpeng’s deliveries in November, showing strong demand for this new offering.

To meet this demand, Xpeng expanded production capacity for the P7+ three times, ensuring that customers receive their orders in a timely manner. The company’s chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, personally delivered the 10,000th P7+ to its owner at a delivery center in Guangzhou, where Xpeng is headquartered.

The P7+ was launched on November 7 with a starting price of RMB 186,800 ($25,770). This mid-to-large-size electric sedan boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5,056 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, and 1,512 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

One notable feature of the P7+ is the absence of LiDAR technology, a departure from Xpeng’s previous models. Instead, the vehicle utilizes a pure vision solution called Eagle Eye Vision, powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips. The Xpeng navigation guided pilot (XNGP) assisted driving feature is also available with the P7+.

In November, Xpeng delivered a total of 30,895 vehicles, marking the third consecutive month of record highs for the company. The P7+ contributed significantly to this achievement, with over 7,000 units delivered within 23 days of its launch. While Xpeng did not disclose the exact number of P7+ deliveries in November, local automotive media reported that 6,950 units were delivered.

The P7+ follows in the footsteps of Xpeng’s previous blockbuster model, the Mona M03, which delivered 11,962 units in November. With the success of both the P7+ and the Mona M03, Xpeng continues to solidify its position in the electric vehicle market.

Overall, Xpeng’s latest offerings demonstrate the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. As demand for electric vehicles continues to grow, Xpeng is well-positioned to meet the needs of consumers with its cutting-edge technology and high-quality products.
