Xpeng is set to unveil the Max variant of the Mona M03 tomorrow, promising to introduce enhanced smart driving capabilities to the electric sedan. The company had initially announced the starting price of the Max variant at RMB 155,800 when it launched the Mona M03 in August 2024.

The Mona M03 Max is expected to feature the industry’s leading autonomous driving technology, a claim that Xpeng had made when the vehicle was first introduced. This cutting-edge technology is aimed at revolutionizing the driving experience for owners of the electric sedan.

He Xiaopeng, the chairman and CEO of Xpeng, took to Weibo to announce the upcoming unboxing event for the Mona M03 Max. The event is scheduled for May 20 and will be attended by hundreds of Mona M03 enthusiasts. This unveiling marks a significant milestone for the Mona M03 series and heralds a new era for Xpeng’s electric vehicles.

Coincidentally, May 20 is celebrated by many as an unofficial Valentine’s Day in China. Mr. He shared that the Mona M03 holds a special place in the hearts of many owners, some of whom have even found love through their shared admiration for the car.

The official launch of the Mona M03 took place on August 27, 2024, with three variants announced – the 515, 620, and 580 Max, priced at RMB 119,800, RMB 129,800, and RMB 155,800 respectively. While deliveries of the lower-priced variants began shortly after the launch, the Max variant was scheduled for release in 2025 but appears to have been delayed.

During an event on artificial intelligence in February, Mr. He had revealed Xpeng’s plans to introduce the Mona M03 Max with top-notch autonomous driving technology in May. This move aligns with Xpeng’s vision of increasing the adoption of advanced smart driving features in the coming years.

In April, Xpeng achieved a significant milestone by delivering 35,045 vehicles, marking the second-highest monthly delivery figure in the company’s history. The Mona M03 emerged as the top-selling model, with 14,210 units delivered, accounting for 40.55% of the total deliveries for the month.

As Xpeng gears up to unveil the Mona M03 Max, anticipation is high among enthusiasts and industry experts alike. The company’s commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology is evident in its latest offering, promising a thrilling driving experience for electric vehicle enthusiasts. Stay tuned for updates from the unveiling event on May 20!
