Xpeng, a prominent electric vehicle (EV) maker, is set to introduce the Mona M03 Max, an upgraded version of its successful electric sedan, in May. This new variant will come equipped with cutting-edge autonomous driving technology, as announced by Xpeng’s CEO, He Xiaopeng. The Mona M03 was initially launched by Xpeng in August 2024, featuring three variants – 515, 620, and 580 Max, with varying price points. The lower-priced models were rolled out last year, with deliveries exceeding expectations. The Max variant, designed to support urban road driving in addition to highways, is scheduled for release after the Chinese New Year holiday in 2025.
With the Mona M03 witnessing consistent success in the market, recording over 15,000 units delivered in January alone, Xpeng is optimistic about the reception of the upcoming Max variant.
