The new Xpeng P7 recently completed a grueling 24-hour endurance test, covering an impressive distance of 3,961 kilometers. The test, which involved driving the P7 continuously at a speed of 210 kilometers per hour for 24 hours, including charging time, took place in Changchun, Jilin, in northeastern China. Xpeng’s chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, took to Weibo to announce the groundbreaking results, surpassing the previous record set by Xiaomi’s YU7 electric SUV, which covered 3,944 kilometers in a similar test at the end of June.

He described the test as a comprehensive challenge to the vehicle’s power, charging, durability, and reliability, likening it to participating in a marathon at sprint speed.
