Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) has recently introduced its next-generation P7 electric sedan to the European market, coinciding with the commencement of deliveries in China. The company is expecting to achieve a significant milestone in September with deliveries surpassing the 40,000-unit mark.

The unveiling of the next-generation P7 in Europe took place in Munich, where Xpeng showcased the sedan’s stunning design and cutting-edge technology that aims to redefine electric driving. A global livestream event is scheduled for September 8 at 9:20 am GMT+2 to further introduce the new model to a wider audience.

The European debut of the next-generation P7 is part of Xpeng’s participation in the IAA Mobility 2025 event in Munich, Germany, starting on September 8. Other Chinese automakers, including Leapmotor (HKG: 9863), will also be showcasing their models at the event.

Xpeng officially launched the next-generation P7 in China on August 27, introducing significant updates such as a redesigned exterior and the integration of the company’s in-house developed Turing AI chip for smart driving. The model is equipped with three Turing chips, providing a computing power of 2,250 TOPS for enhanced performance.

With four variants available, the new-generation P7 is priced starting at RMB 219,800 ($30,770) in China, offering competitive pricing compared to Tesla’s Model 3 electric sedan. Nationwide deliveries of the new-generation P7 began on August 28, following the official launch.

In August, Xpeng achieved a record high delivery of 37,709 vehicles, marking a 168.66 percent year-on-year increase. The company’s chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, expressed confidence in surpassing the 40,000-unit mark for September deliveries, indicating a strong performance for the month.
