The Zeekr 007 GT Wagon Set to Launch in Europe

Just days ago, official pictures of the Zeekr 007 GT wagon emerged, hinting at an imminent launch in the automotive market. Originally slated for release in China during Q2, it has now been confirmed that the model will also make its way to Europe, where it will be known as the Zeekr 7 GT.

The Zeekr brand has already established a presence in several European countries, including the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. While wagons may not be as popular in Europe as they once were, there is still a niche market for them, especially among buyers looking for electric vehicle (EV) options.

In Europe, the MG 5, a re-badged version of the Roewe Ei5, has gained traction due to its wagon design. With limited alternatives for EV wagons in the market, the Zeekr 007 GT is poised to offer a compelling option for buyers looking for a blend of style, performance, and sustainability.

The 2025 version of the Zeekr 007 sedan, which debuted last year, showcased cutting-edge features and technology that are expected to carry over to the wagon model. One notable feature is the second-generation Golden Brick battery, a lithium iron phosphate battery with a remarkable 5.5C charging capability.

Zeekr claims that the Golden Brick Battery is the world’s fastest-charging mass-produced battery, capable of charging from 10% to 80% state of charge in just 10.5 minutes. This fast-charging capability, coupled with a 75 kWh pack in the sedan, promises impressive performance and range for the upcoming wagon model.

The Zeekr 007 GT is expected to offer powertrain options similar to the sedan, including a rear-mounted 310 kW electric motor with peak torque of 440 Nm. Dual-motor versions will feature an additional 165 kW electric motor on the front axle, delivering enhanced acceleration and performance.

Inside the cabin, the Zeekr 007 boasts a range of high-tech features, including a 15-inch OLED center screen, a 35.5-inch AR-HUD system, and an LCD instrument panel. Other amenities include a premium audio system, AI fragrance system, and panoramic roof, offering a luxurious and futuristic driving experience.

With the introduction of the Haohan intelligent driving 2.0 system in the 2025 model year, the Zeekr 007 sedan showcased advanced self-driving capabilities. Equipped with over 30 sensors, including Lidar, the system operates on a Lidar plus visual fusion basis, paving the way for enhanced autonomous driving features.

While pricing details for the Zeekr 007 GT in Europe have yet to be announced, it is expected to carry a slight premium over the sedan models. In China, prices for the sedan range from 209,900 yuan to 299,900 yuan, with European prices likely starting above 50,000 EUR.

As the automotive industry continues to embrace electrification and innovation, the Zeekr 007 GT wagon represents a compelling option for EV enthusiasts in Europe and beyond. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new model.
