The highly anticipated Zeekr 9X, also known as the “Chinese Cullinan,” made its official debut at the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show today. This new vehicle is set to launch in the third quarter of this year and will mark Zeekr’s first venture into hybrid powertrains with the introduction of their Super Hybrid Technology. Alongside the standard model, Zeekr also unveiled the Zeekr 9X Glorious Edition, expected to start at RMB 1 million, forming part of the “Glorious Family” alongside the Zeekr 009 Glorious. Additionally, Zeekr showcased their V4 ultra-fast charging megawatt pile, capable of reaching a peak charging speed of 1.3 megawatts for a single connector.

The exterior design of the Zeekr 9X follows the design philosophy of the Zeekr 009, featuring a bold and boxy silhouette. The front grille retains its chrome-plated finish, while the split headlight arrangement adds to the vehicle’s commanding presence. The rear of the car boasts a panoramic starlight light bar with 42,242 diamond-cut surfaces, and the 22-inch mirror-polished forged wheels undergo 30 hours of manual polishing for a refined look. The Glorious version of the Zeekr 9X is expected to come in a black and gold paint scheme, enhancing its luxurious appeal.

The side profile of the Zeekr 9X reveals the integration of LiDAR sensors, making it the first model to feature the Qianli Haohan H9 solution developed by Geely for L3-level intelligent assisted driving. This system includes five LiDAR sensors, powered by dual Thor intelligent driving chips with a combined computing power of 1400 TOPS.

In terms of dimensions, the Zeekr 9X will exceed 5.2 meters in length, with a width of 2029mm, a height of 1819mm, and a wheelbase of 3169mm. The vehicle is expected to feature a “Heaven and Earth Gate” split tailgate and “Panoramic Seating” for added comfort.

Under the hood, the Zeekr 9X will be equipped with Zeekr’s Super Hybrid Technology, featuring a 2.0T super hybrid engine with a maximum power output of 205 kW and a thermal efficiency of 46%. The pure electric version offers a range of 380 kilometers under CLTC conditions, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time in the 3-second range and a top speed of 240 km/h. The vehicle also boasts a 48V active electronic anti-roll bar, air suspension, and a dual-valve CCD electromagnetic damping system for enhanced performance.

Overall, the Zeekr 9X promises to be a groundbreaking addition to the electric vehicle market, combining luxury, performance, and advanced technology in one impressive package.
