Zeekr Delivers 15,000 Vehicles Overseas, Reaches Milestone in Australia

On January 27th, Zeekr made a significant announcement, stating that it has successfully delivered a total of 15,000 vehicles overseas. The 15,000th vehicle was delivered in Australia, marking a significant milestone for the company. This achievement comes after Zeekr expanded to its first overseas market in Europe back in 2023, with Sweden being its initial point of entry.

Currently, Zeekr operates in various countries including Sweden, Denmark, France, Norway, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and more. The company has also recently entered the Singaporean market. Zeekr has established an overseas R&D facility and a global design center, both located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Zeekr Showroom

Looking ahead, Zeekr has ambitious plans to set up 100 sales stores and 70 service centers overseas in 2025. The company aims to create 15 flagship stores in key cities such as Sydney, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Dubai. This strategic move is aimed at providing localized service experiences to customers in new markets where Zeekr is establishing a presence.

With a current total of 538 stores worldwide, Zeekr is focused on expanding its reach to cover more regions in Europe, Oceania, Latin America, and Africa. The company is also eyeing the competitive South Korean market, which is dominated by local brands like Hyundai and Kia.

Zeekr 007 GT

In addition to its global expansion efforts, Zeekr is working on developing vehicles tailored for overseas markets. The upcoming Zeekr 007 GT wagon variant is set to launch in China and Europe in the second quarter of 2025. This model has been spotted undergoing testing in Europe, indicating Zeekr’s commitment to meeting the needs of diverse markets.

Despite a decline in popularity, wagons still hold significance in European markets where they have traditionally been well-received. In China, wagons have carved out a niche following the success of models like the Nio ET5 Touring and Neta S Hunting.

Zeekr’s sales figures have been impressive, with a total of 222,123 vehicles sold in 2024, marking an 87% year-over-year increase. The company’s President, An Conghui, aims to boost sales further by targeting an annual figure of 320,000 units, with overseas markets playing a pivotal role in Zeekr’s growth strategy as the Chinese domestic market matures.
