Zeekr, a prominent player in the electric vehicle (EV) market, has recently introduced the Zeekr 7X electric SUV in Australia, expanding its lineup in the region to three models. This new addition comes after the successful launches of the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009 in the Australian market.

The Zeekr 7X has already commenced pre-sales in Australia, offering three variants – RWD, Long Range RWD, and Performance AWD, with starting prices ranging from AUD 57,900 to AUD 72,900. The model boasts an impressive cruising range of 480 kilometers to 615 kilometers and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6 seconds or 3.8 seconds, making it a compelling choice for EV enthusiasts.

Originally launched in China on September 20, 2024, the Zeekr 7X has quickly gained popularity, with three variants available in the Chinese market at competitive starting prices. Following its success in China, Zeekr expanded its reach to Europe, with pre-sales kicking off in countries like the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway. The first deliveries of the Zeekr 7X in Europe took place in Bergen, Norway, marking a significant milestone for the brand.

In addition to its global expansion, Zeekr also introduced the Zeekr 7X in Hong Kong at the end of June, further solidifying its presence in the Asian market. The brand initially entered the Australian market in October 2024 with the launch of the Zeekr X compact EV, followed by the introduction of the Zeekr 009 MPV in November of the same year.

Zeekr’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction is evident in its vehicle update plan for the remainder of the year. By sharing this plan with the public, the company aims to prevent any negative feedback resulting from sudden model updates, showcasing its dedication to transparency and customer engagement.

With the Zeekr 7X emerging as the best-selling model for the brand, accounting for 40.77 percent of Zeekr’s total sales in July, it is clear that Zeekr’s strategic expansion and product offerings are resonating with consumers worldwide. As the EV market continues to evolve, Zeekr remains at the forefront, delivering cutting-edge electric vehicles that redefine the driving experience.
