Zeekr, a prominent electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated flagship hybrid SUV model, the Zeekr 9X, in the third quarter of this year. The company has set an expected starting price of about RMB 600,000 ($83,550) for this cutting-edge vehicle.

The Zeekr 9X marks a significant milestone for the company as it is their first hybrid model, boasting an impressive all-electric range exceeding 380 kilometers. This hybrid SUV is set to redefine the boundaries between traditional plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) with its innovative powertrain.

During a recent announcement, Zeekr revealed that they will be hosting a tech showcase event for the Zeekr 9X, scheduled to take place on July 9 at 7:00 pm Beijing Time. The event will highlight the vehicle’s advanced features, including super hybrid and intelligent chassis technologies.

One of the key highlights of the Zeekr 9X is its utilization of CATL’s Freevoy Battery, which offers exceptional performance and efficiency. This battery technology enables the Zeekr 9X to deliver an unparalleled driving experience, making it the longest-range hybrid SUV globally.

The powertrain of the Zeekr 9X combines the best of both worlds, providing exceptional acceleration capabilities and overall driving performance. With a 2.0T hybrid engine outputting 205 kW, the Zeekr 9X can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds, setting a new standard for high-performance electric driving.

Furthermore, the Zeekr 9X will be equipped with Zeekr’s latest G-Pilot H9 autonomous driving system, featuring dual Nvidia Thor chips and advanced LiDAR sensors. This system enables the vehicle to achieve advanced L3 driving capabilities, enhancing safety and convenience for drivers.
