Zeekr, the electric vehicle (EV) maker, is set to make waves in 2025 with the launch of three new models, each offering hybrid variants. CEO Andy An shared the company’s exciting product plans during a recent call with Geely Automobile Holdings, revealing the timing of Zeekr’s first hybrid models.

The lineup for 2025 includes a shooting brake model based on the Zeekr 007 electric sedan in the second quarter, followed by a full-size flagship SUV in the third quarter and a mid to large-size luxury SUV in the fourth quarter. Both SUVs will be available in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants, offering consumers a range of options to choose from.

An introduced Zeekr’s hybrid system, known as Super Hybrid, which combines the benefits of BEVs, PHEVs, and extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs). This innovative powertrain aims to provide low energy consumption for highway driving, long driving ranges, and an all-electric driving experience.

The technology behind the Super Hybrid system will be unveiled at the 2025 Shanghai auto show, scheduled from April 25 to May 2. This highly anticipated reveal will showcase Zeekr’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the EV market.

In addition to the new models, Zeekr has been expanding its sales network, adding over 150 stores in 2024 to bring the total global count to 538 by the end of the year. The company plans to further increase its coverage in China’s tier 3 and tier 4 markets, aiming to reach 81 percent of these cities by the end of 2025.

Zeekr’s focus on expanding its reach and delivering high-quality vehicles has been reflected in its sales numbers. In December 2024, the company achieved a record month with 27,190 vehicle deliveries. For the full year, Zeekr delivered 222,123 vehicles, demonstrating strong growth compared to the previous year.

With the upcoming launch of hybrid models and a continued focus on expanding its sales network, Zeekr is poised to make a significant impact in the EV market in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on Zeekr’s latest developments and innovations.
