ZEEKR Launches New 7GT Shooting Brake Electric Vehicle

Four months after teasing the GT shooting brake variant of its all-electric 007 sedan, ZEEKR has officially unveiled the 7GT in China, with deliveries set to begin in less than a week. The sleek and sporty 7GT boasts a range of comfort features and cutting-edge technology, including a fast-charging 800V platform and impressive acceleration capabilities.

The ZEEKR 007GT, also known as the “Grand Tour,” was first revealed in early January 2025, showcasing a design that combines the practicality of a shooting brake with the performance of a sports hatchback. Building on the success of its flagship 001 model, ZEEKR aimed to offer a global audience a stylish and high-performance electric vehicle option.

The 7GT is powered by ZEEKR’s 800V SEA architecture, with a standard range variant featuring a 75 kWh battery pack that offers up to 650 km of range and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes on a DC fast charger. For those seeking even more range, a long-range version with a 100 kWh battery pack is available, providing up to 825 km of all-electric driving.

Equipped with two silicon carbide-powered electric motors, the ZEEKR 7GT can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in just 2.95 seconds, delivering an exhilarating driving experience. The vehicle’s dimensions include a length of 4,864mm, a width of 1,900mm, a height of 1,460mm, and a wheelbase of 2,925mm, offering ample space for both passengers and cargo.

Inside, the 7GT features luxurious NAPPA full-grain leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, and a spa-grade massage function for added comfort. The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm 8295 chipset, providing seamless connectivity and entertainment options for drivers and passengers.

Safety is a top priority for ZEEKR, with the 7GT equipped with a sensor suite that includes dual-Nvidia Orin-X SoC, lidar, high-definition cameras, and millimeter-wave radars. These advanced technologies support smart assist ADAS features and enable the vehicle’s G-Pilot H7 autonomous driving capabilities.

Customers can customize their 7GT with a choice of nine exterior colors and four interior combinations. The starting price for the ZEEKR 7GT is RMB 202,900 ($27,615), making it an attractive option for those in the market for a high-performance electric vehicle. Deliveries in China are set to begin on April 20, 2025, with plans to expand to other global markets in the near future.
