Audi’s lineup of utility vehicles has long been dominated by gas-powered options like the Q3, Q5, Q7, and Q8. However, with the introduction of the 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron, the brand is making a significant push towards electrification in the SUV segment. This midsize electric crossover, seating five passengers, is set to rival popular electric SUVs like the Tesla Model Y and BMW X3.

The 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron is a testament to Audi’s commitment to electric vehicle technology, featuring the brand’s second-generation electric platform known as PPE. This architecture is shared with the Porsche Macan EV, offering an 800-volt electrical system for faster charging, a larger 94.4-kWh battery pack, more powerful motors, and a cutting-edge digital interface. The interior design is a blend of modernity and functionality, with a sleek dashboard layout and intuitive controls that are easy to navigate.

Performance-wise, the Audi Q6 E-Tron comes equipped with a standard single-motor rear-wheel-drive system producing 322 horsepower. For those seeking more power, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive option is available, propelling the Q6 from 0 to 60 mph in under five seconds. The vehicle boasts impressive range estimates, with the AWD model offering up to 307 miles on a single charge.

In terms of comfort and practicality, the Q6 E-Tron doesn’t disappoint. The front seats are comfortable and supportive, while rear passengers enjoy ample headroom and legroom. Safety features are also top-notch, with standard driver-assist technologies like automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring.

As for pricing, the 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron starts at $65,095 for the RWD model, with higher trims available at slightly higher price points. The SQ6 E-Tron variant is priced at $74,195, offering additional performance capabilities.

Manufactured in Ingolstadt, Germany, the 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron is a prime example of Audi’s dedication to sustainable mobility. While federal tax credits may not apply to this model, its advanced technology and impressive range make it a compelling option for eco-conscious SUV buyers. With additional variants like the Sportback model and a high-performance RS version planned for the future, Audi’s electric SUV lineup is only set to expand further.
