2025 Buick Envista Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

The 2025 Buick Envista is a small crossover SUV that fits neatly between the subcompact Encore GX and the compact Envision in Buick’s lineup. While it may not be the smallest Buick, it is the most affordable option. When comparing the Envista to other vehicles in its class, it can be stacked up against the Chevrolet Trax, Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Kona, and Lexus UX.

In terms of value and style, the 2025 Buick Envista is a strong competitor. It offers a comfortable interior and an attractive design. However, some may find that the Envision model could use a bit more power. On the TCC scale, it earns a rating of 5.8 out of 10.

The Envista was introduced last year and for the 2025 model year, there are no significant changes to report. This sleek Buick features a hatchback profile with an SUV-like stance. Despite not towering over traffic, it appears larger than its compact dimensions suggest. With its sharp lines and modern design, the Envista stands out as one of the most stylish and affordable cars on the market.

Inside, the Envista boasts a minimalist design with two screens mounted high on the dashboard. While the lack of buttons and knobs helps keep costs down, it may give the interior a somewhat sparse look. Despite this, the vehicle offers ample space thanks to its long wheelbase and overall length of 183 inches. However, the sleek roofline limits the cargo area, making it challenging to transport taller items.

Under the hood, the 2025 Buick Envista is powered by a 1.2-liter turbo-3 engine that delivers 136 horsepower to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. While suitable for city driving, the Envista may feel underpowered for highway passing maneuvers. The ride quality is decent, but not particularly plush or sporty. The steering is quick and accurate, but lacks feedback. With a combined fuel economy of 30 mpg, the Envista offers impressive efficiency.

In terms of safety, the NHTSA gives the Envista a four-star overall rating, which is considered disappointing. However, the Envision model comes equipped with a range of collision-avoidance features. Some advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitors are available as optional extras.

The starting price for the 2025 Buick Envista is $24,490, which includes an 11.0-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone mirroring, and a good selection of crash-avoidance technologies. For an additional $995, buyers can opt for heated seats with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, making it a great value proposition.

The 2025 Buick Envista is manufactured in South Korea, adding to its global appeal. Overall, the Envista offers a compelling combination of style, value, and comfort, making it a worthy contender in the small crossover SUV segment.
