Stellantis recently unveiled the pricing for the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with some models seeing a slight decrease in cost compared to the 2024 versions. The midsize SUV remains unchanged for the new model year, offering a range of trim levels to suit different preferences and budgets.
The base Laredo model with rear-wheel drive now starts at $38,830, including the $1,795 destination fee. However, Laredo 4WD models have received a $1,000 price cut. Above the Laredo, the Limited, Overland, and Summit trim levels offer additional features and amenities, with prices ranging from $44,700 to $60,355. Four-wheel drive is available as an option on the Laredo and Limited models for an additional $2,000, while it comes standard on the Overland and Summit models.
For those in need of more space, the 3-row Grand Cherokee L is also available in the same trim levels as the 2-row models, priced $2,000 higher than their 2-row counterparts.
Under the hood, both the 2-row Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee L are equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 293 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. While the 5.7-liter V-8 option has been discontinued, buyers can opt for the Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid, which combines a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine with a two-motor hybrid system for 370 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, along with standard four-wheel drive.
The 4xe is not available in the base Laredo grade, with the least-expensive Limited 4xe starting at $62,285 with destination. The Trailhawk off-road grade is exclusive to the 4xe model and is priced at $67,980, while the Overland and Summit grades are available at $75,275 and $76,465, respectively.
Looking ahead, a mid-cycle refresh is expected for the 2026 model year, with the possibility of adopting the Hurricane turbo-6 engine used in the larger Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, as well as the Ram 1500 pickup truck. The current Jeep Grand Cherokee, known as the WL series, continues to offer a blend of performance, capability, and luxury in the competitive midsize SUV segment.
