The Mazda CX-90 is a large SUV that offers a premium driving experience, especially in its flagship Azami trim with the optional SP Package. The exterior design is sleek and modern, with a spacious and upscale interior that features high-quality materials and comfortable seating for up to seven passengers.

The CX-90 comes with a range of standard and optional features, including a large infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and a premium Bose sound system. The interior is well-designed and offers plenty of storage space, though some areas could use improvement in terms of usability and material quality.

Under the hood, the CX-90 is powered by a 3.3L inline six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It delivers 254kW of power and 500Nm of torque, providing ample performance for highway driving and mountain roads. The transmission can be a bit clunky at low speeds, but overall the CX-90 handles well and offers a smooth and comfortable ride.

Safety features include autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and a 360-degree camera system. The CX-90 has yet to be tested by ANCAP, but its platform-mates have received five-star ratings.

In terms of running costs, the CX-90 is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty and has capped-price servicing. Overall, the Mazda CX-90 is a well-rounded SUV that offers a premium driving experience and plenty of features for the price.
