2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB Class Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB-Class is an impressive SUV that offers a fully electric powertrain, making it a great option for those looking for a luxury electric vehicle. This model is similar in size and features to the GLB-Class, but with the added benefit of being electric. It is comparable to other electric SUVs like the Genesis GV60 and the Tesla Model Y.

One of the standout features of the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB-Class is its new Exclusive trim level, which includes standard heated front seats, a Burmester audio system, and a surround-view camera system. Additionally, there is a new Design Package available that adds exterior trim and unique upholstery featuring grey synthetic leather with rose gold fabric inserts. Premium Mountain Grey Magno paint is also now an option for the exterior, along with new 18- and 20-inch wheel choices.

The EQB-Class shares a platform and design with the gas-powered GLB-Class, but with distinct EV styling elements such as a star-patterned grille insert and an LED light bar below the hood’s edge. Models equipped with the Burmester stereo system also feature artificial acceleration and braking noise for added excitement.

In terms of performance, the EQB-Class is available in different variants, such as the EQB 250+ with an estimated range of 245 miles, the EQB 300 4Matic with more power but slightly less range, and the EQB 350 4Matic with good acceleration but a lower range of 221 miles. The 4Matic models come with a second electric motor for all-wheel drive capabilities.

While not particularly quick, the EQB-Class offers good handling, a smooth ride, and better brake feel compared to other electric SUVs. The interior is spacious and welcoming, though not as luxurious as other Mercedes SUVs. The three-row version may not be as practical as it seems, as it only provides enough space for older children who are too big for car seats but not yet ready to sit in the front.

Safety features include standard automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitors, with optional upgrades like a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, and active blind-spot assist available for an additional cost. The EQB-Class has not yet been crash-tested by the NHTSA or the IIHS.

Pricing for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB-Class starts at $54,200 for the EQB 250+, which includes a $1,150 destination charge. The top-of-the-line EQB 350 4Matic model costs $61,800 and comes with additional features like a big sunroof and a premium audio system.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB-Class is manufactured in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Hungary, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. If you’re in the market for a luxury electric SUV, the EQB-Class is definitely worth considering for its comfort, features, and overall performance.
