Mercedes-Benz Introduces 2025 S-Class Model in China

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the 2025 S-Class model in the Chinese market on February 19, 2025. The latest lineup offers five variants powered by 2.5T and 3.0T inline-six engines with prices ranging from 962,600 yuan to 2,042,600 yuan. Key features of this update include standard L2+ navigation-assisted driving and dynamic star emblem welcome lights.

The exterior design of the 2025 S-Class remains sophisticated and business-oriented, with minimal changes to the W223 generation’s aesthetic. The front grille and matrix LED headlights maintain the sleek look, while the new dynamic star emblem welcome lights add a touch of luxury.

Inside, the S-Class boasts upgraded intelligent features such as an active ambient lighting system with 263 LED lights, a 12.3-inch 3D digital instrument cluster, and a 12.8-inch OLED central display. The “Mind-Reading Voice Assistant” uses in-cabin cameras to interpret gestures and execute functions without direct input.

The L2+ navigation-assisted driving system is now standard, offering automated lane changes and adaptive speed control based on traffic conditions. The powertrain includes mild-hybrid gasoline engines with varying horsepower and torque outputs.
