2025 Nissan Ariya Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

The 2025 Nissan Ariya is an all-electric crossover SUV that stands out in the market with its sleek design, impressive performance, and competitive pricing. When comparing the Ariya to other electric vehicles, it is often matched up against the Volkswagen ID.4, Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.

In terms of its design, the Ariya is sized similar to the Nissan Rogue but offers a more stylish and modern appeal. Its exterior features bold fender flares, elegant touches, and the option for a two-tone paint job, making it a standout on the road. Inside, the Ariya boasts a luxurious and high-tech interior that rivals even more expensive vehicles. The dash is equipped with hidden haptic buttons, a 12.3-inch screen, and premium materials, providing a truly upscale experience for drivers and passengers.

The Ariya comes in four different powertrain configurations, with options for both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Models with the 63-kwh battery pack offer 214 hp with a single front-mounted electric motor, while the 87-kwh battery pack unlocks more range and power, reaching up to 389 hp in dual-motor, all-wheel-drive models. Despite its power, the Ariya prioritizes comfort and refinement over sporty performance, with soft suspension tuning and a focus on a smooth, quiet ride.

When it comes to range, the Ariya is not a leader in the electric vehicle market. Models with the 66-kwh battery pack offer around 205-216 miles of estimated range, while other versions can reach up to 289 miles. The Ariya is equipped with DC fast-charging capabilities, allowing for a quick 40-minute charge from 20-80%.

Inside, the Ariya provides a spacious and comfortable cabin with ample room for both front and rear passengers. The cargo area offers nearly 23 cubic feet of space, which expands significantly when the rear seats are folded down. Safety is a top priority for Nissan, and the Ariya has received excellent safety scores, including a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from the NHTSA. All models come with advanced driver-assistance technology, with the top trim level featuring a hands-off driving system at highway speeds.

The base price for the 2025 Nissan Ariya starts at $41,160, including a destination charge. The all-wheel-drive version is priced at $45,160, while opting for the 91-kwh battery and all-wheel drive raises the price to $46,790. The Ariya is made in Japan, which unfortunately means it is not eligible for current federal EV tax incentives.

In conclusion, the 2025 Nissan Ariya is a standout electric vehicle in the crossover SUV market, offering a winning combination of style, performance, and value for consumers looking to make the switch to electric driving.
