Slate Auto recently unveiled their latest innovation, the Slate Truck, an electric pickup truck designed with affordability in mind. The Truck made its debut just yesterday, boasting a minimalist approach with no infotainment system or speakers, and even offering crank windows for those who appreciate simplicity.

What sets the Slate Truck apart is its customization options. Customers can choose from three body styles and opt for additional features like boxy or fastback-style SUV caps, adding a second row of seats. The configurator is now live on Slate’s website, allowing users to personalize their ideal electric vehicle.

To kickstart the personalization process, users can select one of the Truck’s Starter Packs, which come with preconfigured options tailored to specific preferences. From the basic Blank Slate to the retro-inspired Vintage and street race-themed Lucky 77, there are 25 Starter Packs to choose from, catering to all body styles.

When it comes to exterior customization, the Slate Truck offers a variety of wrap and graphic options in satin, gloss, and matte finishes. Customers can choose from partial wraps, two-tone Black Top kits, and unique designs like the Mud Master and Snow Dog. Additionally, a range of decals, side graphics, racing stripes, and accent colors are available to enhance the truck’s appearance.

For those looking to further personalize their Slate Truck, a selection of exterior accessories is available, including front and rear bumper guards, running boards, fender flares, and various grille options. Customers can also choose from seven wheel styles in different sizes, with the option to customize them further with aero covers and different rubber types.

Moving to the interior, Slate offers two seat choices and the option to upgrade various components like armrests, center console, and dash covers in different colors. Accent options are available for vents, HVAC control knobs, and even key fobs in bronze, gunmetal, and magma colors. While the Truck doesn’t come with speakers, customers can add them back or opt for power windows as an upgrade.

With a wide range of customization options available, Slate could potentially expand further by adding more interior colors, graphics, wheel designs, and aftermarket accessories in the future. The possibilities are endless for those looking to create their unique Slate Truck that truly reflects their style and preferences.
