Chinese electric truck maker Windrose is making waves in the industry, with a recent appearance at the ACT Expo in Anaheim showcasing their impressive 400-mile sleeper cab electric semis. Not only have they deployed their first customer trucks in the US, but they have also raised their fundraising goal to an impressive $300 million.

CEO Wen Han, a Stanford-educated businessman with a background in finance and technology, has big plans for Windrose. With aspirations to build new assembly plants in Belgium and the US, Han aims to avoid anti-Chinese patents on their 700 kWh R700 electric semi.

One of the highlights of Windrose’s appearance at the ACT Expo was the unveiling of a 1:18 scale model of the R700. This detailed replica garnered attention from journalists and attendees alike, showcasing the intricate design of Windrose’s electric axles, batteries, and center seating position.

In addition to the scale model, Windrose also had real R700 semis on display at the expo. These fully functional electric trucks impressed onlookers with their sleek design, high-quality finish, and impressive performance capabilities. With a 700 kWh battery, megawatt charging capabilities, and a 400-mile range, the R700 is poised to compete with traditional diesel semis on both performance and cost.

Windrose has attracted attention from big fleet buyers, industry experts, and investors, signaling a bright future for the company. With a board that includes industry veterans and a growing customer base, Windrose is poised for success in the electric truck market.

Overall, Windrose’s presence at the ACT Expo solidified their position as a major player in the electric truck industry. With innovative technology, impressive performance, and a strong leadership team, Windrose is set to revolutionize the commercial trucking industry with their cutting-edge electric semis.
