Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 4, 2024, Seres Group Co., Ltd. (SERES) sealed a significant strategic cooperation agreement with the China Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE-China) in Chongqing. The agreement between SERES and SAE-China will focus on various areas such as strategic foresight in smart NEV technology, industry consulting, academic exchanges, innovation in technology and product services, joint talent development, and the establishment of collaborative innovation platforms. By pooling their strengths and resources, both organizations aim to foster technological innovation and industry advancements, supporting the high-quality development of China’s smart NEV sector.

Earlier on August 25, SERES unveiled its 2024 semi-annual financial report, which disclosed a revenue of 65.044 billion yuan, marking a staggering year-over-year increase of 489.58%. The first half of the year saw SERES’ net profit attributable to shareholders reaching 1.625 billion yuan.

In addition, SERES reported the sale of 36,181 NEVs in August alone, reflecting a notable 479.55% year-over-year surge. Cumulatively, SERES has sold 279,306 NEVs in the first eight months of the year, marking a substantial 381.75% increase from the previous year.
