The latest offering from Bentley, the Bentley Bentayga Speed, has been revealed as the brand’s fastest SUV yet, outperforming its predecessor in terms of speed and agility. With a new twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine under the hood, the Bentayga Speed generates an impressive 641bhp and 627lb ft of torque, making it a force to be reckoned with on the road.

One of the most notable improvements in the new Bentayga Speed is its reduced weight, shedding 42kg to bring its kerb weight down to 2466kg. This weight reduction, coupled with a new launch control function, allows the super-SUV to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds, a significant improvement over its predecessors.

In addition to its impressive acceleration, the Bentayga Speed boasts a top speed of 193mph, thanks to the extra power provided by the V8 engine. The SUV also features reworked drive modes, including a Sport mode that enhances the dampers’ stiffness and allows for more spirited driving.

The Speed model also comes equipped with rear-wheel steering, which improves maneuverability at lower speeds and enhances stability during high-speed driving. A sports exhaust system is standard on the Bentayga Speed, but customers have the option to upgrade to an Akrapovic-supplied titanium system with four tailpipes for a more dramatic driving experience.

Visually, the Bentley Bentayga Speed stands out from other variants with Speed badges on its flanks and a choice of bespoke 22in or 23in wheel designs. The larger wheel option can be paired with carbon-ceramic discs for added performance.

Overall, the Bentley Bentayga Speed is a remarkable feat of engineering, combining power, agility, and luxury in one impressive package. Whether cruising on the highway or tackling twisty back roads, this super-SUV is sure to deliver an exhilarating driving experience for those lucky enough to get behind the wheel.
