2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for electric vehicles, especially with Rivian unveiling the pricing details for its upcoming models. As we reach the midway point of 2025, the anticipation for the new Quad Motor R1T as a 2026 model is building. Rivian has now shared the starting prices for the variants of its flagship BEVs, giving us a glimpse into what to expect from the American automaker.

Summer is looking promising for Rivian, with R2 models already undergoing validation testing and a $5,000 discount available throughout June for all Tri-Motor versions of its R1 models. The recent reveal of the Quad Motor R1T, set to debut as a 2026 model, has further fueled the excitement surrounding Rivian’s electric lineup.

According to a Rivian representative, the 2026 model year R1 BEVs will be priced as follows:

2026 Rivian R1S Starting Pricing:
– Dual Standard: $76,990
– Dual Large: $83,990
– Dual Max: $90,990
– Tri Max: $106,990

2026 Rivian R1T Starting Pricing:
– Dual Standard: $70,990
– Dual Large: $77,990
– Dual Max: $84,990
– Tri Max: $100,990

Comparing these prices to the 2025 model year variants, we see a slight increase in pricing across the board for the 2026 models. The MSRPs mentioned do not include destination and freight charges, which will be an additional $1,895 per MY2026 vehicle. Customers can also opt for a Performance Upgrade for an extra $5,000 on their Dual Motor R1S or R1T.

While details on the 2026 Quad Motor variants are still pending, Rivian has promised to provide more information closer to the start of sales, expected to be around late summer or early fall. Stay tuned for updates on options packages and performance specs as Rivian continues to make waves in the electric vehicle market.
