The Range Rover Sport SV Joins JLR’s Model Line-Up

The Range Rover Sport SV has officially become a permanent fixture in JLR’s model line-up, after initially being introduced in limited numbers in 2024 as part of Edition One and Edition Two batches.

JLR has now expanded the Range Rover Sport line-up by adding two new variants: the standard SV and the more hardcore SV Black edition.

Both variants are equipped with a BMW-derived 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V8 engine, producing an impressive 626bhp and 553 lb ft of torque.

The standard SV boasts a rapid 0-60mph time of just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 165mph, while the SV Black edition shaves off 0.2 seconds from the sprint time and can reach a top speed of 180mph thanks to its carbonfiber construction.

Both models feature the innovative 6D Dynamics suspension technology, which enhances handling and performance by minimizing body roll – a feature that was first introduced on a limited-run model and is now also found on the Land Rover Defender Octa.

With 23-inch alloy wheels and the option to customize with various extras, both SV variants offer a luxurious and personalized driving experience.

The SV Black edition, true to its name, is finished in Narvik Black with all elements in Narvik Gloss Black, complemented by Ebony Windsor leather interior and black detailing.

The Range Rover Sport SV is currently available for purchase starting at £139,995, while the SV Black edition will be open for orders later this year with a price tag of £154,975.
