Onvo’s latest flagship SUV model, the L90, has been making waves in the Chinese automotive market with its impressive sales performance. Within just 10 days of its launch, the Onvo L90 has already delivered over 4,000 units, putting it on track to potentially break Nio Inc’s record for the highest monthly sales of a single model.

According to a report by the Securities Times, Nio Inc sold a total of 6,089 units last week, securing a spot in the top five of China’s weekly automotive sales rankings. The Onvo L90 has quickly climbed the ranks to become the second best-selling large SUV in China, surpassing competitors like Li Auto’s Li L9 and Li L8.

The Onvo vehicle production plant in Hefei, Anhui province, is currently operating at full capacity to meet the high demand for the L90. Production and deliveries are being ramped up to ensure that customers receive their vehicles in a timely manner.

Insurance registrations serve as a key indicator of weekly sales performance in the Chinese automotive market. Last week, the Onvo L90 recorded 2,093 insurance registrations, ranking second behind the Aito M8 EREV, which recorded 3,690 units. The Aito M8, backed by Huawei, has been a strong competitor in the large SUV segment.

The Onvo L90 is an all-electric SUV that was officially launched on July 31, with deliveries starting on August 1. In just 10 days, the L90 has garnered a total of 4,069 insurance registrations, showcasing the strong demand for this new model.

Onvo president Shen Fei has set ambitious targets for the L90, aiming to exceed 10,000 units in deliveries for the month of August. If the current delivery pace is maintained, the L90 has the potential to surpass Nio Inc’s record for the highest monthly sales of a single model.

Overall, the Onvo L90’s rapid success in the Chinese market highlights the growing demand for electric SUVs and showcases Onvo’s strong position in the competitive automotive industry. With impressive sales figures and ambitious goals set for the future, the Onvo L90 is poised to make a significant impact in the EV market.
