Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has provided a sneak peek into the interior of its upcoming third-generation ES8 SUV, set to debut next week. The new ES8 boasts a spacious interior with a horizontal central screen, a departure from its predecessor’s vertical screen. Additionally, a long screen can be found behind the steering wheel and central display, a feature also present in the ET9 sedan.

Scheduled for unveiling on August 21, the all-new ES8 will be showcased at an event in Chengdu, Sichuan province, with a focus on its product and technology highlights. The official launch of the ES8 is slated for Nio Day 2025 next month.

The latest ES8 is positioned as a full-scenario technology flagship SUV, catering to various user scenarios such as business, family, and personal use. With a length of 5,280 mm and a wheelbase of 3,013 mm, the ES8 is currently the largest pure electric SUV in the Chinese market, offering the largest interior space in Nio’s history.

Available in six- and seven-seat configurations, the ES8 measures 5,280 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. This marks a significant increase in size compared to its predecessor, providing a space experience that surpasses luxury SUVs in its class and offers the ride comfort of a high-end business MPV.

Apart from its spacious design, the new ES8 features cutting-edge smart driving chips, a full-domain operating system, and an intelligent chassis, setting new standards in the electric SUV segment. Nio aims to provide a luxurious SUV experience combined with the functionality of a business MPV in the new ES8 model.
