Fiat is set to launch a new pick-up model based on Stellantis’ Smart Car platform. This vehicle, slightly behind schedule, is expected to be unveiled this year with deliveries starting in 2026. The highly anticipated 500 Ibrida, a 1.0-litre mild hybrid version of the Cinquecento, will also be introduced soon. Interestingly, this model will feature a manual transmission, a rarity in the European market. Both the Firefly-powered and electric versions of the 500 will undergo facelifts in 2027 and continue production at the Mirafiori Carrozzerie plant until 2030.

In the coming year, Fiat will introduce a new fastback-SUV as a successor to the Tipo/Egea models. This new vehicle, based on the Smart Car platform, will offer a fresh take on the existing sedan, hatchback, and wagon variants. Additionally, a Giga Panda model is expected to debut in 2027 to compete with popular crossovers like the Dacia Duster. The lineup will further expand in 2029 with the introduction of a new Panda model, signaling a significant milestone for Stellantis.

Turning to Jeep, the brand is gearing up for a revival under the leadership of Stellantis’ new CEO. The upcoming J4U, the next Compass model, is set to enter production next year, with a range of powertrain options including MHEV, PHEV, and EV variants. The brand will also introduce the Recon model and a new Cherokee, along with facelifts for the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in 2025. Notably, Stellantis is working on integrating a six-cylinder engine with a motor as a range extender for certain models, paving the way for hybrid and electric offerings.

Meanwhile, Lancia is facing challenges in the market, with declining sales and the absence of a successful successor to the Ypsilon model. The brand is set to introduce the Gamma, a fastback model, in 2026, with plans for a hybrid variant alongside the electric version. Stellantis aims to rejuvenate the brand with the addition of high-performance variants like the Gamma HF and HF Integrale in 2027, followed by a Delta model in 2028. The future lineup will also include a revised Gamma in 2030 and a new Ypsilon model in 2031, marking the brand’s 125th anniversary.

Leapmotor, a Chinese automaker, is making strides in the market with a growing presence both domestically and internationally. The brand’s lineup includes a range of models like the B10, C01, C10, and T03, with the recent addition of the B01 fastback sedan. Plans for overseas assembly and expansion into new markets are in the pipeline, with local assembly in partnership with Stellantis set to commence in 2026.

In the luxury segment, Maserati is facing uncertainties about its future, despite offering high-quality vehicles. The brand is expected to relocate production of the GranTurismo and Gran Cabrio models to Modena in 2026, with mid-life facelifts planned for 2027 or 2028. The future lineup may include a fresh Quattroporte model and an E-UV BEV SUV, with a focus on both combustion engine and electric powertrains.

Overall, Stellantis is gearing up for a wave of new models and updates across its brands, with a focus on electrification, performance variants, and strategic partnerships to drive growth and innovation in the automotive industry. Stay tuned for more updates on the future models and strategies of Stellantis in the automotive market.
