Audi’s New Sports Car Concept Looks Even Better As an SUV

The Audi Concept C has sparked a wave of excitement and anticipation in the automotive world. This bold new direction in design language has left fans divided, with some loving the fresh take on Audi’s iconic style while others remain skeptical. Drawing inspiration from the classic Avus and Rosemeyer concepts, as well as the outgoing TT model, the Concept C sets the stage for a new era of Audi design.

Audi has already confirmed that a production sports car based on the Concept C is in the works. However, the impact of this design will not be limited to just one model. The Concept C’s styling is expected to influence an entire lineup of vehicles, including sedans, wagons, and SUVs. Rendering artist Luca Serafini has taken this a step further by envisioning what an SUV inspired by the Concept C might look like. The result is a sharp and futuristic design that pushes the boundaries of Audi’s current SUV offerings.

Serafini doesn’t stop there. He has also reimagined the Concept C’s design on a semi-truck, a boat, a motorcycle, and even a high-riding sports car reminiscent of the Activesphere concept. These creations showcase the versatility and adaptability of the Concept C’s design elements across various vehicle types.

While the Concept C has received mixed reactions, there’s no denying that Audi’s new design language has the potential to revolutionize the brand’s lineup. The sleek LED headlights, tapered grille, flat surfacing, and enclosed C-pillar translate surprisingly well across different vehicle formats. From SUVs to semis, Audi’s bold new styling elements are making a statement in the automotive world.

As for when we can expect to see production models featuring this new design language, it’s still unclear. However, it’s speculated that the first model could debut as early as 2027, sharing a platform with the upcoming Porsche 718 EV. Additional models, including SUVs and sedans, are expected to follow suit.

In the meantime, fans can feast their eyes on the stunning visuals of the Concept C and its potential applications in the embedded Instagram post above. The future of Audi’s design language is looking brighter and bolder than ever, and we can’t wait to see how it evolves in the years to come.
