Introducing the New Jeep Avenger 4xe: A Game-Changer in the UK Market

The highly anticipated Jeep Avenger 4xe, the latest addition to the model line-up, has officially hit the UK market with a starting price of £30,999. This all-wheel-drive hybrid powerhouse is set to redefine the standards in its class and promises to deliver unparalleled performance both on and off the road.

Available in two trims at launch – the base Upland and the exclusive The North Face Edition priced at £34,999 – the Avenger 4xe offers a unique blend of style, versatility, and sustainability. With only 4806 units of The North Face Edition up for grabs, featuring Summit Gold accents and a nature-inspired color palette, this limited edition variant is sure to turn heads on the road. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in March, so make sure to secure your spot early.

According to Jeep, the Avenger 4xe is designed to “go further, faster, and better off-road” than any of its competitors. Eric Laforge, the new Jeep Europe boss, expressed his pride in introducing a vehicle that not only excels in performance and sustainability but also raises the bar in terms of versatility and style.

The journey to the Avenger 4xe began with the launch of the EV version in mid-2023, followed by a more affordable pure-petrol variant in the UK. With a strong heritage of off-road capability, Jeep always had plans to introduce an all-wheel-drive model to enhance the brand’s reputation. The 4×4 variant was first teased at the 2022 Paris motor show, signaling Jeep’s commitment to delivering unmatched capability in every segment.

Powered by a combination of a 134bhp 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine and two 28bhp electric motors, the Avenger 4xe boasts a 48V hybrid system that offers exceptional traction and torque for enhanced off-road performance. With the ability to generate up to 1400lb ft of torque at the rear wheels, this hybrid powerhouse delivers a thrilling driving experience.

Equipped with a ‘smart’ all-wheel-drive system, the Avenger 4xe accelerates from 0-62mph in just 9.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 120mph. Jeep also assures a minimal increase in CO2 emissions compared to the existing Avenger hybrid, although exact figures are yet to be disclosed.

The advanced all-wheel-drive system dynamically distributes power to all four wheels, optimizing traction and stability in varying driving conditions. The Selec-Terrain drive mode selector offers Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Sport settings, allowing drivers to tailor the power distribution and stability control according to the terrain.

In conclusion, the Jeep Avenger 4xe is set to revolutionize the UK market with its cutting-edge technology, impressive performance capabilities, and unparalleled off-road prowess. If you’re looking for a vehicle that combines sustainability with adventure, look no further than the Avenger 4xe.
