Chery Holding Achieves Record-High Annual Sales in 2024

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Chery Holding has reported a milestone year in 2024, with annual sales reaching 2,603,916 vehicles. This represents a significant 38.4% year-over-year increase and marks a new record for the company.

In December 2024, Chery Holding sold 298,505 vehicles, also experiencing a 38.4% increase from the same period in the previous year.

Aside from record-breaking sales figures, Chery Holding achieved several other key milestones in 2024. The company’s annual revenue surpassed 480 billion yuan for the first time, marking a growth of over 50% compared to the previous year. Additionally, Chery’s export volume reached 1,144,588 vehicles in 2024, up 21.4% from the year before. The automaker also saw a significant increase in sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs), with 583,569 units sold in 2024, a remarkable 232.7% year-on-year surge. In December alone, Chery sold 102,621 NEVs, surpassing the 100,000-unit mark in a single month for the first time.

Breaking down the sales by brand, the Chery brand sold 168,319 vehicles in December (+30.4% YoY) and 1,611,374 units for the year (+31.1% YoY), crossing the 1.6 million-unit milestone for the first time. The EXEED brand sold 12,521 vehicles in December, with a total of 140,959 units sold in 2024 (+12.3% YoY). JETOUR saw a 57% year-on-year increase in December sales, totaling 66,202 units, while the full-year sales reached 568,387 vehicles, representing an 80.3% growth from 2023.

Chery’s new energy vehicle brand iCAR reported sales of 10,340 vehicles in December and 65,964 vehicles throughout 2024. LUXEED, the premium brand jointly developed by Chery and Huawei, sold 17,736 vehicles in December and 57,956 vehicles for the entire year.
