Li Auto, a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer, recently celebrated a significant milestone as the 200,000th Li L6 SUV rolled off the assembly line. This marked a notable achievement for the company’s most affordable model.

The production milestone was announced on Weibo by Li Auto, with the 200,000th Li L6 SUV being produced at the company’s plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu province. Li Auto, headquartered in Beijing, also operates another factory in the same region.

The Li L6 was introduced to the market on April 18, 2024, with deliveries commencing on April 24 of the same year. This five-seat SUV is currently the most economical model offered by Li Auto and is available in Pro and Max trims, starting at RMB 249,800 ($34,070) and RMB 279,800, respectively.

In addition to the Li L6, Li Auto’s lineup includes other models such as the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9, which are extended-range electric SUVs, as well as the Li Mega all-electric MPV.

The company achieved a record-breaking milestone in December, delivering 58,513 vehicles, representing a 16.21% increase year-on-year and a 20.05% increase from the previous month. In total, Li Auto delivered 500,508 vehicles in 2024, marking a 33.10% increase compared to the previous year.

Since its launch in April, the Li L6 has contributed significantly to Li Auto’s overall deliveries, with 164,488 units delivered by the end of November, accounting for 37.21% of the company’s total deliveries during the first 11 months of the year.

As of the end of 2024, Li Auto’s cumulative deliveries since its establishment amounted to 1,133,872 units. This success underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the electric vehicle market.
