During the CES press conference, Mr. Wang Tan, Co-founder and Vice President of XPENG AEROHT, introduced the flying car, stating, “This exhibition marks the international debut of the ‘Land Aircraft Carrier.’ We have designed a new body color specifically for this event, hoping to appeal to global tech enthusiasts. With over 3,000 pre-orders already secured, deliveries are set to begin in 2026.”

XPENG AEROHT has made significant strides with the “Land Aircraft Carrier” over the past year. From applying for the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Type Certification to raising $150 million in funding and launching the world’s first assembly line for mass production of flying cars, the company has been on a growth trajectory. In addition, XPENG AEROHT unveiled its “Three-Stage Product Strategy for Urban Low-Altitude Mobility” and debuted the high-speed and long-range tilt-rotor eVTOL aircraft.

Two color options have been revealed for the flying car, with plans for four color schemes on the mass-produced model.

The “Land Aircraft Carrier” comprises two modules: the ground module and the air module. The ground vehicle, known as the “Mothership,” features a tri-axle, six-wheel design with 6×6 all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering for enhanced off-road capabilities. The air module adopts a six-rotor, dual-duct design with foldable arms and blades, offering strength and lightweight performance.

The “Land Aircraft Carrier” prioritizes safety with full-redundancy systems for critical components, ensuring maximum safety for users.
