BYD unveiled its latest flagship models, the Han L sedan and Tang L SUV, as part of the Dynasty lineup aimed at the premium market segment in China. The prices of these new models, expected to be in the RMB 300,000 class, will be revealed at a later event in March.

The Han L sedan and Tang L SUV are additions to BYD’s existing lineup, which includes the Han and Tang models that have been successful in the mid-to-high-end market. The new models bring a fresh design language called “Loong Face,” emphasizing the mythical creature in Chinese culture.

The Han L sedan boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5,050 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm. It will be available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants, offering high performance with a peak power of 580 kW in the dual-motor version.

On the other hand, the Tang L SUV features a three-row seating layout and is offered in both BEV and PHEV variants. With similar powertrain options as the Han L models, the Tang L can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Both the Han L and Tang L models showcase BYD’s commitment to innovation and advancement in the NEV market. The company’s Dynasty lineup continues to expand, offering consumers a range of premium electric vehicles to choose from.

As BYD continues to push boundaries and introduce cutting-edge technologies in its vehicles, the Han L and Tang L represent the next chapter in the company’s journey towards electrification and sustainability. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting new models from BYD.
