Alset Auto franchises offer Tesla-like experience for custom EVs

ALSET Auto doesn’t protect cars; it protects EVs. This year, the Tesla customization company expanded its services to include all EV owners and offers services such as tint, ceramic coatings, paint protection film (PPF), and colored wraps. As ALSET Auto’s business grows, the company is offering new franchise opportunities to help expand its services to EV owners in the US and Canada.

ALSET Auto was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2018 by Phil Bunting and Marcus Brown after they each purchased Teslas and were dissatisfied with their experience in their search for viable exterior protection options. Bunting recalls, “I called a half dozen shops in my area and got the same runaround. They loved to disparage Tesla’s soft paint, but no one wanted to give me a firm price for paint protection over the phone.” This frustration led to the creation of ALSET Auto, with a mission to provide transparent pricing and quality services for EV owners.

Over the past five years, ALSET Auto has quickly become a leading provider of paint protection and personalization services. Operating in 15 markets across North America, ALSET has protected and personalized more than 7,000 EVs. The company offers a range of services including Tesla Cybertruck wraps, PPF, nano ceramic coatings, and ceramic window film, all aimed at protecting and enhancing the appearance of EVs.

One of the key services offered by ALSET Auto is its Tesla Cybertruck wraps. The company offers a large selection of colored PPF in various finishes and has seen a surge in demand for these wraps in recent years. ALSET Auto has also partnered with XPEL Inc. to provide customers with the best protective film and coating options available in the market.

In addition to its services, ALSET Auto has received nearly 1,000 five-star reviews for its exceptional customer service and industry-leading lifetime warranty. The company’s services are CARFAX certified, ensuring that all upgrades appear on CARFAX reports to increase resale value and assist in insurance claims.

Looking ahead, ALSET Auto plans to award 12 new franchises in 2025 after successfully launching its first franchise in Dallas, Texas in 2021. The company completed a rigorous franchise registration process with iFranchise Group, Inc., a consultancy group that has worked with other well-known brands in the industry.

With its focus on providing quality services and transparent pricing, ALSET Auto continues to lead the way in protecting and personalizing EVs for owners across the US and Canada. As the demand for EVs grows, the company’s expansion through franchising will enable more customers to benefit from its services and expertise.

ALSET Auto has seen tremendous growth since its inception, now boasting 15 locations with more franchises in the works. The expansion has been strategic, with locations spread across major cities in the United States and even reaching into Canada. Some of the key locations include Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Las Vegas, NV; Orange County, CA; Portland, OR; Raleigh, NC; Richmond, VA; San Diego, CA; Sacramento, CA (ALSET Affiliate); Seattle, WA; Tampa, FL; and Vancouver, BC, Canada.

According to the company’s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), the average annual revenue for ALSET Auto locations that have been open for at least 12 months was $1 million in 2023. This success can be attributed to the comprehensive support that ALSET Auto provides to its franchisees. From training and site selection assistance to marketing and advertising, vendor partnerships, and dealer programs, franchise operators are set up for success from the get-go.

Interestingly, many of the current ALSET franchisees came from diverse backgrounds, ranging from the restaurant and entertainment industries to sales, technology, sports, and finance. This goes to show that prior experience in the industry is not a prerequisite for joining the ALSET Auto family. What matters most is a passion for electric vehicles (EVs) and a desire for financial freedom and independence from a traditional 9-to-5 job.

Ideal franchise candidates are EV owners and enthusiasts who are eager to capitalize on the booming EV market. They should also be well-capitalized, business-minded, and committed to actively working in their business. To learn more about franchising opportunities with ALSET Auto, interested individuals can visit their website to access the franchising e-brochure.

For those looking to explore the services offered by ALSET Auto, a visit to their retail site is recommended. With a focus on EVs and a commitment to excellence, ALSET Auto continues to pave the way in the automotive industry.
