AVATR Announces Release of AVATR 07 Pro+ Model
On February 12, AVATR, a premium new energy vehicle brand founded by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, made a significant announcement. The AVATR 07 Pro+ model is set to hit the market on February 18, showcasing cutting-edge technology and features.
The highlight of the AVATR 07 Pro+ is the inclusion of Huawei’s Qiankun ADS SE+ intelligent driving system and the HarmonyOS smart cockpit. This model boasts 10 cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, enabling advanced smart driving functions such as intelligent lane change decisions, obstacle avoidance, and turn signal-activated lane changing.
To demonstrate the capabilities of the AVATR 07 Pro+, the brand hosted a live stream event featuring AVATR Technology’s President Chen Zhuo and Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution BU’s CEO Jin Yuzhi conducting an on-road test of the vehicle.
While the official pricing for the AVATR 07 Pro+ has not been revealed, the current AVATR 07 Pro extended-range rear-wheel-drive version is priced at 219,900 yuan, with the pure electric rear-wheel-drive variant priced at 229,900 yuan.
In terms of specifications, the existing AVATR 07 Pro series measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. The series offers both extended-range and pure electric powertrains, providing a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of 230 km and 650 km, respectively.
