Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bosch, recently unveiled its state-of-the-art R&D and manufacturing facility in Suzhou Industrial Park, dedicated to producing core components for new energy vehicles (NEVs) and autonomous driving technologies. The new site, located at 8 Xinglin Street, spans an impressive 300,000 square meters and focuses on developing key components for both passenger and commercial NEVs.
Construction of the facility commenced in March 2023 and was efficiently completed within a year. The production workshop was finalized and passed inspection in August 2024, with mass production scheduled to kick off in the latter half of the same year. The production area covers over 70,000 square meters and includes various sections such as manufacturing workshops, an energy center, a chemical warehouse, and security zones. Additionally, a material handling center and an automated logistics warehouse are currently under construction and are expected to be operational by the end of 2025.
The Suzhou base brings together different divisions, including automotive electronics, vehicle dynamics control systems, and intelligent driving systems, to foster cross-domain collaboration and deliver comprehensive services to customers. This integration aims to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in providing cutting-edge solutions for the automotive industry.
