Bosch Showcases Cutting-Edge Automotive Technologies at CISCE 2024
Bosch, a leading provider of automotive solutions, is once again participating in the China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo 2024 (CISCE) for the second consecutive year. The event, scheduled from November 26 to 30, brings together industry leaders to showcase the latest innovations in the automotive supply chain. Bosch has collaborated with XPENG, Rio Tinto, and China Baowu Group to create a joint booth, where they are demonstrating a wide range of products spanning from raw materials and components to vehicle manufacturing.
One of the key highlights at the Bosch booth is the smart integrated braking system and next-generation occupant protection systems developed for the XPENG P7+ model. The braking system utilizes electronic control and hydraulic technology to provide brake assistance without the need for engine vacuum. By integrating brake boosting and ESP®, the system enhances dynamic vehicle performance while supporting efficient energy recovery in hybrid and electric vehicles, leading to improved driving range and reduced CO2 emissions.
In collaboration with XPENG, Bosch has also developed an advanced safety system that includes components such as the airbag control unit, external acceleration sensors, front collision sensors, and peripheral pressure sensors. These components enable precise monitoring of the vehicle’s surroundings and collision conditions, enhancing safety and intelligent driving capabilities in complex road conditions.
Furthermore, Bosch is showcasing its core technologies in the smart vehicle supply chain, including fuel cells, electrification, aftermarket services, and innovative solutions in motion control and driving safety. Notable products on display include the smart decoupled braking system with ESP®10, the second-generation silicon carbide (SiC) electric bridge, and fully redundant electric power steering systems. These technologies offer improved driving power, energy efficiency, and driving comfort, catering to the evolving needs of the automotive industry.
In line with its commitment to the Chinese market, Bosch has established dual centers for fuel cell components and assemblies in Wuxi and Chongqing. The company’s fuel cell product portfolio and flexible solutions are well-suited for various sectors such as urban delivery, intercity transport, and municipal sanitation. Additionally, Bosch has deepened its strategic cooperation with Tencent to explore intelligent connectivity technologies in the automotive sector, further accelerating the smart transformation of China’s automotive industry.
Overall, Bosch’s participation at CISCE 2024 underscores its commitment to innovation and collaboration in the automotive industry. With a focus on cutting-edge technologies and localized solutions, Bosch is poised to drive the future of mobility in China and beyond.
