Toyota GR Supra retires with 429bhp, track-honed special edition

The Toyota GR Supra Final Edition: A Track-focused Powerhouse

The Toyota GR Supra Final Edition is a limited-run model that takes the already impressive Supra to new heights. With enhancements to both performance and styling, this Final Edition is sure to turn heads.

Under the hood, the power steering has been made more direct, and the camber axle has been changed to improve grip. Pair that with new Michelin PS 2 tires that are 10% wider than standard, and you have a recipe for enhanced performance on the track.

Visually, the Final Edition stands out with a track-flavored styling overhaul. A carbonfiber rear spoiler, wind-cheating canards, and a large cooling vent on the bonnet all hint at the power increase that lies beneath the surface.

Step inside the cabin, and you’ll find carbonfiber Recaro buckets trimmed in Alcantara, with a pop of red on the driver’s side. Carbonfiber trim elements and red seatbelts further differentiate the Final Edition from the standard Supra.

While Toyota has not disclosed the exact number of Final Edition models coming to the UK or the pricing, it is expected to command a premium over the outgoing standard car. The standard 3.0-litre Supra has also received minor tweaks, including subtle styling changes and an optimized differential.

Set to hit global markets in spring next year, the Final Edition marks the end of road-going iterations of the Supra. However, Toyota reassures fans that they will continue to refine the Supra through motorsports activities in the future.
