These concepts bear resemblance to the second-generation lunar tire previously showcased by Bridgestone in 2024, which also integrated a flexible inner structure but utilized a steel wool mesh for tread, arranged in rectangular pads. These designs mark a significant departure from the company’s earlier first-generation tire, which sported a fully enclosed coil spring structure.
