BYD’s premium brand Denza is set to officially launch its latest SUV model, the N9, on March 21 in Shenzhen. The N9, a six-seat hybrid SUV, has already garnered attention with its pre-sales beginning on February 21, offering a price range of RMB 450,000 to RMB 550,000.

With a length of 5,258 mm, width of 2,030 mm, height of 1,830 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,125 mm, the Denza N9 promises to set a new benchmark in the luxury flagship SUV segment. The model is equipped with BYD’s e3 technology, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than four seconds.

The N9 boasts a CLTC battery range of over 200 kilometers and a combined range of 1,300 kilometers on a full tank of fuel and charge. This places it in direct competition with models like Li Auto’s Li L9 and Aito’s M9, both of which are similarly priced in the market.

Denza has been making waves in the electric vehicle market, with the N9 being its flagship SUV alongside other models like the N7, Z9 sedan, Z9GT, and D9 MPV. The brand delivered 8,513 vehicles in February, marking an 85.15 percent year-on-year increase, but a 27.36 percent decrease from January. Overall, Denza delivered 20,233 vehicles in January-February, representing a 48.05 percent year-on-year growth.

The launch of the Denza N9 signifies the brand’s commitment to innovation and luxury in the electric vehicle sector. With its cutting-edge technology and impressive performance capabilities, the N9 is poised to make a significant impact in the market and solidify Denza’s position as a key player in the EV industry.
