Introducing the BYD Han L: A New Addition to China’s Automotive Market
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The latest filing from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has unveiled the newest member of the BYD family, the BYD Han L.

The BYD Han L showcases BYD’s iconic “Dragon Face” design, featuring striking headlights connected by a sleek decorative strip. The front bumper boasts air ducts and black trim elements, giving the vehicle a bold and modern look. With a U-shaped hood and door-mounted side-view mirrors, the Han L exudes sophistication and style.
On the side profile, the Han L maintains the fastback silhouette of the existing Han model, with a single horizontal trim strip adding a touch of elegance to the design.

At the rear, the BYD Han L features a silver trim detail on the D-pillar and a rear light strip that spans the width of the car, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.
Measuring 5,050 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm, the Han L offers ample space for both passengers and cargo.
The BYD Han L is available in both PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) and BEV (battery electric vehicle) variants. The PHEV version boasts BYD’s fifth-generation Dual Mode (DM) technology, with a 1.5T engine delivering 115 kW of power and an electric motor pumping out 200 kW, offering impressive battery-powered ranges of 145 km and 170 km.
The BEV variant of the Han L delivers exceptional power performance, with the single-motor version offering a maximum power output of 500 kW. The dual-motor version features a front electric motor delivering 230 kW and a rear electric motor reaching a staggering 580 kW.
